DMC is planning and seeding a new online viral and buzz marketing campaign for Australian company Holeproof, featuring international business tycoon Donald Trump.

Holeproof are using DMC’s seeding expertise to kickstart buzz, maximise the spread of this entertaining campaign and help raise brand awareness of Holeproof Computer Socks. The campaign is being pre-released online before its mainstream TV launch.

Created by Whybin TBWA in conjunction with Antony Shannon, the humourous campaign features Donald Trump in his private jet discussing the financial market with his broker. When he asks for stocks that never go down, a recommendation from a business companion makes for an unexpected outcome.

Holeproof approached Trump in July and pitched their idea for his involvement. With Trump receiving over 100 approaches a week from around the world, Trump said he only works with leading companies and will only endorse great products. The partnership quickly developed as Trump enjoyed the quirky sense of humour that features in the clip.
